I have hovered the front room twice since Christmas, TWICE! but, yet, I am still finding little bits of the Christmas tree all over the floor.
I am convinced, after intensive study, that the plastic strands of greenness that litter my front room floor are actually living breathing life forms, which, are sworn enemies of all Christmas celebrating humans and are hell bent on making our lives as difficult as possible, until, next year, when they are relived of their duty as the next generation of little green plastic strands arrive and take over.
Their strategy is to, when they see me arrive with the hover, grow little green plastic legs, they then proceed to run and hide in the few places i cant reach, they crawl under the carpet, behind the skirting board, under the T.V etc, some of them even burrow into the carpet, using their little green plastic legs to push themselves underneath the fibers and griping to the lining to prevent me sucking them up.
When I've completed the hovering they then emerge to the surface, when my back is turned they cheekily spread themselves out across the room. Not only in the part of the room where the Christmas tree stood, no, that would be way to easy for me, but all over the room, right to the other side, they probably grow little green plastic wings and fly their way over!
When they have completed their misson their little green plastic wings and legs disappear back into their body and, once again, pretend to be little, green, plastic, inanimate objects.....But i know differently!!!
